The 2014 Distinguished Entrepreneur award will be presented on Wednesday, May 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa, Bonita Springs. Tickets for the Distinguished Entrepreneur Award and Dinner are $125 per person.

“Southwest Florida has shown that it loves to come together to recognize the business community for its achievements,” said Dan Regelski, Regional Director of the FSBDC. “The FSBD continues to build this exciting new tradition and showcase the many successes of our local entrepreneurs.”

Keynote speaker will be Caroline Beasley, executive vice president, chief financial officer, treasurer and secretary of Naples-based Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. Beasley was honored by Radio INK magazine as one of the “40 most Powerful People in Radio” in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she has been recognized in the magazines’ “Most Influential Women in Radio” listing every year since 2003.

Community members are encouraged to nominate a local business from the five-county area (Collier, Lee, Glades, Hendry and Charlotte) that has been in business for three or more years, displays a high level of overall success and is able to demonstrate their innovations, achievements and local impact.
