Tax Supervisor

As a Tax Supervisor, your skills will directly contribute to supporting the goals of our valued clients by being responsible for the administration of engagements and serving as primary liaison between the client and MNMW team in the overall planning and administration of an engagement including:

Responsibilities

  • Keeping informed on financial and other business developments in the clients’ organizations and industries, and communicates findings with colleagues
  • Making recommendations for refinement of engagement procedures to increase job efficiency and effectiveness
  • Supervising and prioritizing simultaneous engagements and delegating duties
  • Being alert to client needs (areas needing improvement and additional services) during all phases of the engagement and reports needs to engagement manager
  • Communicating effectively with clients on a one–on-one basis and reporting results to colleagues
  • Effectively marketing firm services within the community
  • Serving as a mentor as needed

Qualifications

  • CPA license is required
  • 3-7+ years work experience in a public accounting firm
  • Construction, Non Profit Industry or A&A experience a plus
  • Advanced research skills and highly competent in interpreting and applying rules/regulation to specific situations
  • Advanced understanding of personal and business tax returns, within a Public Accounting firm
  • Member in good standing with appropriate professional organizations
  • Highly competent in MS Office and other service area-specific software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to adapt to changing situations and needs in a positive manner
