Each month, MNMW will feature two of our team members, providing you with information to help you get to know us better!

Brenda Wright

MNMW was happy to welcome Brenda to the firm in 2016.  She serves as the Executive Assistant to firm partner Karen Mosteller, and also assists team members in various stages of tax planning and preparation.  She knew about the firm culture through family and friends who had interacted with MNMW through personal and professional opportunities.  Based on that knowledge she knew that this environment would be a perfect fit for her career, and welcomed the chance to join the team.

When you don’t find Brenda in the office keeping track of schedules and planning, she may be hard to locate as she loves to travel!  The Caribbean is one of her favorite places to visit, but she loves adventure and seeks out trips to as many new places as possible.  She also finds time to unwind reading a good book or taking a run to clear her mind.  Brenda is a pretty good cook too, finding new and creative recipes to try at home.   If you call, or stop by the office to see Karen, you will get the chance to meet Brenda, and there is no doubt you will pick up on her friendly and outgoing demeanor.

Morgan Lindsey

When Morgan Lindsey joined the firm, she was still a senior in high school.  Mo, as she likes to be called, came onboard part-time in 2016, and when she finished her senior year, she joined the MNMW Litigation team as a full-time member and is studying accounting in college.  She was already familiar with the firm through her mom who has worked in the bookkeeping division for many years, growing up around many of her current team members today.  She loves the opportunity for growth and the mentorship that MNMW provides.

When she is not helping the forensic accounting team dig through the details, she loves to read philosophy and poetry books.  She is working on her degree at Florida Gulf Coast University, and is preparing for her upcoming Fall 2018 semester where she will attend Tsinghua University in China to study international business and accounting.  Recently she co-authored an article, “How to Attract and Keep Young Professionals as Part of Your Succession Plan,” that was published in the Financial Valuation and Litigation Expert publication and referenced during a national litigation conference.

Mo is passionate about giving back, volunteering with the Abuse Counseling & Treatment Center (ACT) and helping with their fundraisers.  She is inspired by those in the community who give of themselves, seeing the impact each individual person makes shows her anything is possible.  This drives her to strive for change as well in the things that matter to her and those around her.

When asked about the best advice she has received, Mo says it was to trust herself and learn to let go of things you cannot control.  She loves the quote by Albert Einstein, “In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.”  One thing we have discovered about Mo, is that she has a desire to continually learn and grow, never missing an opportunity to better herself.

The important things in her life are family, friends, and the team at MNMW, who she sees as an extension of family as well.  We know that Mo will go far in life, and we hope you enjoy getting to know her and that you watch her as she makes big changes in our community.
